Composition:
Each 5 ml of the reconstituted suspension contains Cefuroxime Axetil (Amorphous) USP equivalent to Cefuroxime 125 mg.
Pack Size:
1 x 1 Natural or white coloured 100 ml HDPE bottle.
Indications:
Cefuroxime axetil for oral suspension is indicated for the treatment of pediatric patients 3 months to 12 years of age with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms.
Dosage:
Take this medication by mouth with food as directed by your doctor, usually twice daily (every 12 hours). The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. In children, the dosage is also based on weight.
Side Effects:
Unusual tiredness/weakness, signs of liver problems (such as nausea/vomiting that doesn\'t stop, stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine), signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine), signs of new infection (such as sore throat that doesn\'t go away, fever).
