Low-pressure monitoring lines are fabricated from flexible, medical-grade polymer tubing compatible with arterial and venous pressure transducers. The 3.0x4.1 mm tube size provides a lumen profile suited to low-pressure signal fidelity while maintaining structural flexibility for bedside routing. Connectors are Luer-compatible and materials are selected to minimise adsorption and signal dampening. Units are provided sterile to support direct use in monitoring circuits.
The monitoring line assembly includes standard transducer connectors and a clear tubing section for visual inspection of fluid continuity. Lengths and connectors are configured for bedside monitoring setups and to integrate with common haemodynamic monitors. Each set is sealed in sterile packaging and boxed for central supply distribution, with lot and expiry information included on labels for inventory control.
Low-pressure monitoring lines with 3.0x4.1 mm tubing are specified for arterial pressure monitoring, central venous pressure lines, and low-pressure transducer interfaces in ICU and perioperative settings. The tubing dimension is chosen to balance fluid column responsiveness with minimised signal damping. Clinical engineering teams evaluate line construction for compatibility with their transducer set-up and for minimal impact on waveform fidelity. Procurement teams select these lines for routine monitoring where consistent signal transmission is required.
Packaging includes lot identifiers and expiry marking to support receiving and QA verification. Batch-level traceability supports clinical acceptance testing when requested. For tendering, request specific batch documentation to confirm available records and compatibility notes for monitoring equipment.
